Md. Akib Shahriar Khan

Md. Akib Shahriar Khan is student assistant and M.Sc. student in the research group. He is studying in the human-computer interaction master's program.

He has experience in rapid prototyping and programming. He also has a lot of experience in various computer vision and image processing applications.

He is currently doing research for his master's thesis on persuasive technologies to change user behavior leading to sustainable, environmentally friendly energy consumption practices.

He graduated with a BSc. in Computer Science and Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh. He then studied at Saarland University and worked as a junior researcher at the August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute, Saarbrücken.

Akib is interested in various topics. These include interactive emotion perception, practical approaches to user habit and behavior analysis, and the otherness of non-human actors.
