M.Sc. Madlen Kneile

Madlen Kneile is a designer, researcher, and Ph.D. student with a background in product design and human-computer interaction.

Her previous work has focused on the interaction design of technologies in various contexts. For example, she explored the collaboration of rescue dog teams and collaborative language learning. She also investigated the interaction of humans with technological counterparts, i.e., autonomously acting technology, and explored how these technologies can be designed. She combines theory and practice in her work and tries to develop and implement practical applications.

In the workgroup, she focuses on how to change people's everyday lives through interactive technologies. Specifically, she is interested in non-anthropocentric design and the opportunities of using technological counterparts for sustainable transformation.
